Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Black River improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pirates host Plymouth (Plymouth, OH) to face the Big Red in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Big Red go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Plymouth lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Mapleton (Ashland, OH)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Keystone will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Ravenna (Ravenna, OH).
