The Channel Islands Raiders volleyball squad (Oxnard, CA), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA)

With the win, Malibu improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Sharks host Downey (Modesto, CA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Downey won 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Tracy (Tracy, CA)

The Raiders now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hueneme for a Citrus Coast battle on Tuesday, September 2. Channel Islands will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.
