August 28, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30328 The Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting George Walton Academy Bulldogs to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now have a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Furtah Prep for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2.
With the loss, George Walton Academy drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA) to play the Indians in a GIAA 4AAA outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 11-5. Tallulah Falls won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Athens Christian (Athens, GA)
