Marion Wolves (Marion, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Wolves now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Regina for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Marion will play a Regals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Regals record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Johnston drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA) to play the Rams in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Rams come into the game with a record of 1-2.
