Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Leyden improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to face the Blue Demons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Blue Demons come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Maine East won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mather (Chicago, IL)

In their next game, the Sabres face the Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 30. Streamwood will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
