The Monticello Mustangs volleyball squad (Charlottesville, VA), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA)

With the win, William Monroe improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Dragons host Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Culpeper County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA)

The Mustangs now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrisonburg for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3. Monticello will encounter a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 2-0.
