In Thursday's non-league match, the New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Pretzels battle the Edinburg Wildcats (Edinburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 2. New Berlin will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL).

With the loss, Tri-City drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30.
