Nezperce Nighthawks (Nezperce, ID) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host St. John Bosco Academy Patriots (Cottonwood, ID), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Nighthawks (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Timberline (Weippe, ID). The Spartans come into the 1A Whitepine challenge with a 1-0 record.

Next up, the Patriots face the Highland Huskies (Craigmont, ID) in a 1A Whitepine game, on Tuesday, September 2. St. John Bosco Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
