August 28, 2025: Grantsboro, NC 28529 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC) and the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), observed Pamlico Christian Academy's volleyball team top Varsity Opponent by a tally of 3-0.
The Mariners (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC). The Warriors enter the MACAA 2A contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Gramercy Christian beat Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
The now own a 38-124 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harts Bluff for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Varsity Opponent will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-7.
