In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Section Lions volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Woodville Panthers.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Bison go into the 2A Area 16 game with a 1-2 record.
