The Monticello Mustangs held off the visiting Turner Ashby Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tandem Friends for a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. Monticello will confront a Badgers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Grove Christian School (Richmond, VA). The Badgers record now stands at 0-1.
