Iowa High School Volleyball - Lynnville-Sully over Baxter
August 29, 2023: Sully, IA 50251 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) and the visiting Baxter (Baxter, IA), saw Lynnville-Sully's volleyball team run past Baxter by a score of 3-0.
The Hawks now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa Valley for a South Iowa Cedar test on Tuesday, September 5. Lynnville-Sully will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-9.
The (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA). The Royals enter the Iowa Star South test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Colo-NESCO gained a win over Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
