In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference contest, on Wednesday, August 30. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to St. Francis (Sacramento, CA).
