August 29, 2023: Winfield, AL 35594 The Winfield Pirates volleyball team (Winfield, AL), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL)
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Stallions come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, South Lamar nudged Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Hamilton Aggies (Hamilton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Winfield will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Aggies come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL).
