The Carlson Marauders football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Airport Jets to 7 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Marauders now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Edsel Ford for a Downriver test on Friday, September 6. Carlson will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 47-13 league loss to Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Airport drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Riverview (Riverview, MI) to meet the Pirates in a Huron test on Friday, September 6. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-0. Riverview won 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Renaissance (Detroit, MI)
