August 29, 2024: Appleton, WI 54915 The Appleton East Patriots football squad scored 6 points and limited the visiting Kettle Moraine Lasers to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neenah for a Fox Valley test on Thursday, September 5. Appleton East will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 50-13 non-league win over Menasha (Menasha, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Kettle Moraine drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lasers host Oconomowoc (Oconomowoc, WI) to meet the Raccoons in a Classic Eight test on Friday, September 6. The Raccoons come into the test with a record of 2-0. Oconomowoc won 21-14 in their recent non-league test against Hamilton (Sussex, WI)
