Michigan High School Football - Bridgeport falls to Gwinn
August 29, 2024: Bridgeport, MI 48722 The Gwinn Modeltowners felled the host Bridgeport Bearcats football team by a score of 14-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Modeltowners face the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a Western Peninsula - Iron challenge, on Friday, September 6. Gwinn will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Emeralds go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 48-6 non-league loss to East Jordan (East Jordan, MI).
The Bearcats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Falcons go into the Tri-Valley - Red challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Freeland toppled Saginaw United (Saginaw, MI), 54-6, in a non-league challenge.
