The The Colony Cougars felled the host Fossil Ridge Panthers football team by a score of 38-21 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. The Colony will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 14-10 non-league win over Grapevine (Grapevine, TX).

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Newman Smith was dropped by Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 63-28, in a non-league challenge.
