August 29, 2024: Marquette, MI 49855 The Marquette Redmen football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Gladstone Braves to 0 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Redmen now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alpena for a Big North test on Saturday, September 7. Marquette will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-0 non-league loss to Ludington (Ludington, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Gladstone drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to clash with the Miners in a Western Peninsula - Copper test on Friday, September 6.
