August 29, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28412 The Ashley Screaming Eagle edged the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders football team by a score of 12-10 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Screaming Eagle face the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Ashley will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
The Crusaders (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Richmond held off Butler (Matthews, NC), 32-0, in a non-league challenge.
