The Mavericks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weddington for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Mallard Creek will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 27-6 non-league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
