The Raiders now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Richmond will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Butler drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Monroe (Monroe, NC) to meet the Redhawks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5.
