North Carolina High School Football - East Wake sneaks past Knightdale
August 29, 2024: Knightdale, NC 27545 The East Wake Warriors football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Knightdale Knights to 22 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rolesville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. East Wake will meet a Rams squad coming off a 38-0 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Knightdale drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-2. South Granville lost 32-22 in their recent non-league test against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC)
