North Carolina High School Football - Riverside-Durham loses to Sanderson
August 29, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27609 Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), 42-30 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sanderson advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Triton lost 16-8 in their recent non-league battle against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)
The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host South View for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Riverside-Durham will play a Tigers team coming off a 28-6 non-league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
