August 29, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23320 Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators (Chesapeake, VA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Greenbrier Christian Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gators host Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA) to face the Patriots in a test on Tuesday, September 3. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 0-1. Portsmouth Christian lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA)
The Ponies now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delmar for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4.
