Ohio High School Soccer - Horizon Science Academy knocks off Independence
August 29, 2024: Independence, OH 44131 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Horizon Science Academy Dragons soccer team scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Independence Blue Devils.
With the triumph, Horizon Science Academy moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to St. Martin de Porres (Cleveland, OH) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, September 6. The Lions come into the match with a record of 0-1.
The Blue Devils now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cuyahoga Heights for a Chagrin Valley - Metro match on Tuesday, September 3. Independence will meet a Red Wolves team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH). The Red Wolves record now stands at 2-2.
