Oklahoma High School Softball - New Lima gets by Alex
August 29, 2024: New Lima, OK 74884 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the New Lima Falcons (New Lima, OK) and the visiting Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK), observed New Lima's softball team get by Alex by a tally of 5-4.
The Falcons (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Stonewall (Stonewall, OK). The Longhorns go into the Class A bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Stonewall tipped New Lima (New Lima, OK), 10-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Verden Tigers (Verden, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 3. Alex will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK).
