August 29, 2024: Covington, GA 30014 The Walnut Grove Warriors softball squad (Walnut Grove, GA), was routed 5-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA)
With the triumph, Eastside improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Eagles host Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA) to meet the Falcons in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, September 3. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Flowery Branch lost 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
The Warriors (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Mill Creek was routed by Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 8-4, in a league challenge.
