Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), observed Academy of Richmond County's volleyball team top Aquinas by a count of 2-0.

The Musketeers (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Westside (Augusta, GA). The Patriots enter the 3A Area 4 contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Westside was knocked off by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
