August 29, 2024: Rainier, OR 97048 The Rainier Columbians volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Columbia Christian Knights to 0 in the Columbians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Columbians now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Clatskanie for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. Rainier will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Columbia Christian drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Knappa (Astoria, OR) to play the Loggers in a 2A Northwest outing on Thursday, September 5. The Loggers come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Knappa lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Warrenton (Warrenton, OR)
