August 29, 2024: Fairview, MI 48621 The Fairview Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Wolverine Wildcats to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Rogers City for a North Star outing on Thursday, September 5. Fairview will play a Hurons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Hurons record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Wolverine drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI) to play the Lancers in a Freelance outing on Thursday, September 5. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 0-5. Ellsworth lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Jordan (East Jordan, MI)
