August 29, 2025: Avoca, IA The Logan-Magnolia Panthers football squad scored 12 points and limited the host AHSTW Vikings to 6 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Missouri Valley for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Logan-Magnolia will face a Big Reds team coming off a 41-6 non-league loss to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The Big Reds record now stands at 0-1.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Red Oak was edged by Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), 14-3, in a non-league outing.
