The Amarillo FFC Lions felled the visiting Plainview Classical Academy football team by a score of 38-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions play the Hart Longhorns (Hart, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Amarillo FFC will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 46-0 non-league win over West Texas Tornadoes (Slaton, TX).
