August 29, 2025: Columbus Junction, IA 52738 The B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) football triumphed over the host Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), 47-14 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a A District 6 game, on Friday, September 5. B-G-M will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Tigerhawks enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Clarke (Osceola, IA).
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Warriors enter the A District 5 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Van Buren County was trounced by Central Lee (Donnellson, IA), 28-8, in a non-league outing.
