Tennessee High School Football - Brighton thwarted by Dyersburg
August 29, 2025: Dyersburg, TN 38024 Dyersburg Trojans (Dyersburg, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN), 36-27 in a non-league battle.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Camden Central (Camden, TN). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Camden Central went down by Huntingdon (Huntingdon, TN), 35-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cardinals play the Jackson Central Merry Cougars (Jackson, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Brighton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 26-13 non-league loss to Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN).
