Indiana High School Football - River Forest defeated by Calumet New Tech

The Calumet New Tech Warriors were victorious over the visiting River Forest Ingots football team by a score of 36-14 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors clash with the East Chicago Central Cardinals (East Chicago, IN) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 5. Calumet New Tech will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cardinals come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 28-22 non-league loss to Gary West Side (Gary, IN).

With the defeat, River Forest drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Ingots travel to Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN) to clash with the Bearcats in a Greater South Shore - South game on Friday, September 5. The Bearcats enter the game with a record of 2-0. Wheeler won 33-7 in their recent non-league game against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)
