The Don Lugo Conquistadores got by the visiting Carter Lions football team by a score of 36-32 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Conquistadores face the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Don Lugo will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA).

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hemet (Hemet, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Hemet was edged by Salesian (Los Angeles, CA), 48-0, in a non-league challenge.
