South Carolina High School Football - Cathedral Academy winner over Christian Academy
August 29, 2025: North Charleston, SC 29418 The Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC) football knocked off the visiting Christian Academy Saints (Myrtle Beach, SC), 42-20 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Generals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross for a SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) game on Friday, September 5. Cathedral Academy will battle a Stingrays team coming off a 52-6 league loss to Jefferson Davis Academy (Blackville, SC). The Stingrays record now stands at 0-2.
The Saints (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Laurens Academy (Laurens, SC). The Crusaders enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Laurens Academy notched a victory over Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC), 34-8, in a non-league game.
