In Friday's non-league game, the Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO) football team were victorious over the visiting Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO), by a score of 34-6.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Centauri will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Pirates come into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 48-6 non-league win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).

With the defeat, Meeker drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Wiggins (Wiggins, CO) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5.
