The Charlotte Christian Knights football team (Charlotte, NC), dropped 16-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC)

With the win, Charlotte Catholic advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Providence Day won 38-10 in their recent non-league bout against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)

The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. Charlotte Christian will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
