The El Paso-Gridley Titans felled the visiting Reed-Custer Comets football team by a score of 28-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans play the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. El Paso-Gridley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 52-12 non-league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL).

With the defeat, Reed-Custer drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Comets host Harvard (Harvard, IL) to meet the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-1. Harvard lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Big Foot (Walworth, WI)
