The Falkner Eagles football team (Falkner, MS), was topped 29-12 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS)

With the victory, Myrtle upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Potts Camp lost 28-24 in their recent non-league battle against Strayhorn (Sarah, MS)

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Okolona for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Falkner will play a Chieftains team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-1.
