The Fennimore Golden Eagles got by the host River Ridge Timberwolves football team by a score of 24-22 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles meet the Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) in a test, on Friday, September 5. Fennimore will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 48-0 non-league win over Boscobel (Boscobel, WI).
