August 29, 2025: Minonk, IL 61760 The Fieldcrest Knights football squad (Minonk, IL), was trounced 52-12 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL)
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, LeRoy was trounced by Ridgeview/Lexington (Colfax, IL), 22-7, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Knights encounter the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Fieldcrest will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL).
