The Grimsley Whirlies football squad scored 31 points and limited the host West Forsyth Titans to 17 in the Whirlies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Whirlies now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Grimsley will face a Eagles team coming off a 33-10 non-league win over Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Porter Ridge ran past Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 24-7, in a non-league outing.
