With the win, Rising Star advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Lingleville (Lingleville, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Lingleville lost 67-0 in their recent non-league battle against Stephenville FAITH (Stephenville, TX)
