The Kosciusko Whippets walloped the host Neshoba Central Rockets football team by a score of 49-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Whippets face the Florence Eagles (Florence, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Kosciusko will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 44-27 non-league win over Richland (Richland, MS).
