August 29, 2025: LeRoy, IL 61752 Ridgeview/Lexington Mustangs (Colfax, IL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), 22-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Ridgeview/Lexington advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Heyworth (Heyworth, IL) to play the Hornets in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Heyworth won 24-0 in their recent league battle against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL)
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. LeRoy will play a Vikings team coming off a 52-12 non-league win over Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
