August 29, 2025: Mineral Wells, TX 76067 The Mineral Wells Rams football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Polytechnic Parrots to 0 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iowa Park for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Mineral Wells will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 28-27 non-league win over Pampa (Pampa, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Polytechnic drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Parrots host Creekview (Carrollton, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Creekview won 49-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Irving (Irving, TX)
