California High School Football - Mission Viejo smashes St. Paul

August 29, 2025: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670

The Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) football trounced the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 59-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Diablos now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Folsom for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Mission Viejo will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, St. Paul drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Swordsmen travel to Damien (La Verne, CA) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, September 5. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 2-0. Damien won 34-31 in their recent non-league game against JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
